• • Experience in basic and Detail Engineering activities of Rotating Equipment/ packages such as pumps, blowers, Agitators, packaged units (Compressors , Cooling towers,  Air Dryers, chemical injection Skids, Nitrogen generation units etc.)


• • Well versed in Preparation of engineering equipment specifications, equipment data sheets, and inspection and testing plans for required equipment.


• • Preparing and Floating the RFQ for rotating and package equipment’s. obtaining the quote from various vendors.


• • Review suppliers’ proposals, Preparing technical clarification and develop technical bid evaluations.


• • Review and approve suppliers’ design calculations, drawings, data sheets and quality control documents. Witness testing of equipment’s in the suppliers / manufacturing facilities if required.


• • Must be full Knowledge of relevant internationally recognized codes and standards such as API, ASME, ANSI, IEC, etc. 


• • Candidate should have experience from  EPC background having experience from Oil and Gas, Chemical, Fertilizer and Pharma plant design/detail engineering.  


• • Self-motivated, self-start up, work individually on projects. Coordinate with other discipline for review of package equipment’s. Follow-up with vendors, Inter discipline to obtain comments , reviews


• • Ability to learn and understand new equipment’s, Team player willing to learn and share the knowledge with all the colleagues.


• • Leadership skills, with good communication, teamwork and influencing skills. Follow company guidelines and ensure compliance requirements.

Job Description for Design Engineer: Piping (PDS)

The candidate should be Graduate/ Postgraduate (Regular only ) in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 3-8 years of experience in Piping design and detail engineering in projects of oil & gas (onshore ) /petrochemical/ chemical etc.

He/She should have capability to perform following activities

• • Coordination with other departments for Piping input/output data


• • Co-ordination with sub consultants /contractors


• • Knowledge of equipment layout and piping considerations for pipe racks, process plants, pump house, tank farm areas etc.


• • Preparation of Equipment Layout, Piping GA, civil information and Isometric drawings.


• • Knowledge of Piping Material specification, BOM and Piping Supports

He/ She should be conversant with

• • 3-D modeling work environment such as PDMS / PDS/ SP3D/TRICAD MS etc.


• • ISO certified company environment 


• • Relevant Industrial design codes such as ASME/DIN.
