Triplan Developing Intelligent Plant Design Software TRICAD MS for Automobiles, Pune, India
PUNE: German-based engineering consulting company TRIPLAN, will set up an Engineering Center in Pune to cater to chemical, refining, life sciences and food & beverages industry through its India subsidiary TRIPLAN India Pvt Ltd.
The company is also introducing its patented Closed Coke Slurry System (CCSS) technology, which it will offer to Indian refineries. "This is in line with our strategy to offer technology, increase our footprints globally and extend our work model of 'Follow the Customer'. After successful delivery of projects in India in the past, this is now the strategic move towards more business in the country," said Peter Stromberger CEO of TRIPLAN AG.
Initially it will recruit 40 to 50 engineering professionals and will do substantial addition in next 2 years. TRIPLAN also intends to remain a multicenter organization and intends to set up offices in other parts of India. This entity will cater to the local projects in India and also TRIPLANs customers in Europe who intend to invest in India. TRIPLAN has already executed three projects in India.

TRIPLANs international projects particularly the Middle East & South East Asia shall be supported by the Indian subsidiary.
Thejamurthy Shivashankar, Managing Director of the Indian subsidiary said, "The Indian Industry was in need of such a combination which includes European experience and local presence, so that end-to-end requirements starting from process technology to detailed engineering and execution of the projects can be met."
The company is also developing intelligent plant design software TRICAD MS for automobiles, which is being used by major automotive companies such as Mercedes, Volkswagen, BMW, AUDI and Skoda.
